Pastor’s Desk – Proverbs 3:7-8

Posted by: | Comments (0)

An unborn child receives life and nourishment from the mother while in the womb, so fearing God and departing from evil give life to a child of God.  Proverbs 3:7-8  “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord and depart from evil.  It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones.”  We read in John 6:63b, Jesus is saying “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.  Praise God, as we take in His Word, we are taking in spiritual life.  God is good and He loves you.

Pastor’s Desk I Timothy 2:5

I Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

We were once captives but Jesus gave Himself a ransom or exchanged His life for yours. Think of it! He bore your sins so you may be sin-free and be in right standing with God. There is no greater love! God is good and He loves you!

Pastor’s Desk – Numbers 23:19

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?”

What God says, He will do. He will fulfill His promises one way as another. He will not give you the freedom to obey without blessing you, nor the freedom to disobey without suffering the consequences. God loves you and wants to bless you. Just study His Word, pray and obey. God is good and He loves you.

Pastor’s Desk – Matthew 9:36

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Matthew 9:36 “But when He saw the multitude, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.” Following this verse we are instructed to pray for the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His harvest. So many today are only looking for what God can do for them instead of what we can do for Him. It is time for us to do the Kingdom work that we are called to do and by doing so, I truly believe that God will take care of your needs. God loves you. Ask God what your assignment is for each day and get busy doing it. He may lead you to take a co-worker to lunch so you can share with them how much God loves them. Verse 35 says that Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching, preaching and healing every sickness and disease. I pray that compassion will move you to action and you can help in the harvest. God bless you richly.
