A Prayer of Salvation

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you in the name of Jesus.

Your Word says,”…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:27), so I know You won’t cast me out, but You take me in and I thank You for it.

You said in Your Word, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). I am calling on Your Name, so I know You have saved me now.

You also said “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10). I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He was raised from the dead for my justification, and I confess Him now as my Lord.

Because Your Word says, “…with the heart man believeth unto righteousness…” and I do believe with my heart. I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21)…And I am saved!

Thank you, Lord!

Dedication Service

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off on Dedication Service

Pastor Lois Snodgrass and the congregation of Living Faith Christian Center invite you to the Dedication Service of our new church home located at 321 E Franklin Avenue, Apache, OK on Saturday, December 1st at 1:00 pm. Refreshments will be served following the Dedication Service.

It has been 11 years since we rented the building north of Country Side Inn and began having services as Living Faith Christian Center. At the time, there were just a handful of us but we believed the Lord would provide for us, and as we grew, He did. We were given permission to make changes in the building to enlarge the sanctuary, a much needed solution. There were only two small rooms to use as an office and Sunday School Class for children which didn’t allow for the variety of age groups needed but we made due and were thankful for what we had. Many fond memories were made over the years in that building, but a door of opportunity opened for us to purchase our new church home for which we are very grateful. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the goodness of the Lord.

Pastor’s Desk – Proverbs 3:7-8

Posted by: | Comments (0)

An unborn child receives life and nourishment from the mother while in the womb, so fearing God and departing from evil give life to a child of God.  Proverbs 3:7-8  “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord and depart from evil.  It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones.”  We read in John 6:63b, Jesus is saying “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.  Praise God, as we take in His Word, we are taking in spiritual life.  God is good and He loves you.

Pastor’s Desk I Timothy 2:5

I Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

We were once captives but Jesus gave Himself a ransom or exchanged His life for yours. Think of it! He bore your sins so you may be sin-free and be in right standing with God. There is no greater love! God is good and He loves you!

Pastor’s Desk – Numbers 23:19

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?”

What God says, He will do. He will fulfill His promises one way as another. He will not give you the freedom to obey without blessing you, nor the freedom to disobey without suffering the consequences. God loves you and wants to bless you. Just study His Word, pray and obey. God is good and He loves you.

Pastor’s Desk – Matthew 9:36

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Matthew 9:36 “But when He saw the multitude, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.” Following this verse we are instructed to pray for the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His harvest. So many today are only looking for what God can do for them instead of what we can do for Him. It is time for us to do the Kingdom work that we are called to do and by doing so, I truly believe that God will take care of your needs. God loves you. Ask God what your assignment is for each day and get busy doing it. He may lead you to take a co-worker to lunch so you can share with them how much God loves them. Verse 35 says that Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching, preaching and healing every sickness and disease. I pray that compassion will move you to action and you can help in the harvest. God bless you richly.

I walked away Testimony by Eddie Morse

PART_1410747871687_IMG950052

While taking a load crude oil to Cushing, Oklahoma. I was just north of   PART_1410747893987_IMG950053Chandler it was raining and they had just put a new layer of asphalt down. I was meeting traffic when I got too close to the edge of the road. There was no shoulder, just mud. From that point until the truck stopped Jesus was driving, I was just along for the ride. As you can tell from the pictures if Jesus had not had me in his hand and his angels cushioning my ride I would not have been able to walk away from that accident. I give Jesus Christ all the praise and all the Glory for being able to tell this story. I was able walk out of that accident with only a few bumps and bruises and a few scratches all because Jesus Christ was with me in that truck. I can’t thank Him enough for being there for me.  It goes to show each of us when we get up each morning that we need to plead the Blood of Jesus over each and every member of our family as well as ourselves and our job.   I can’t begin to thank God enough for getting me through this, and for this I give Jesus all the praise and Glory. Thank you Jesus. AMEN
